Project Schedule

Anoka County completed the Alternative Analysis Report in cooperation with the Cities of Lino Lakes and Centerville, the Metropolitan Council, Mn/DOT and the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA).

The report was completed as the first phase of a three-phase process. The purpose of the first phase was to identify alternative concepts and assess their ability to meet project needs. Preliminary design and environmental documentation of a preferred concept occurs in Phase II followed by final design approvals and right of way acquisition in Phase III. Public Involvement will continue throughout Phases II and III of the project.

Schedule Summary

Phase I of the County Road 14 Project began in January 2004 and was completed in July 2004.
Phase II (preliminary design/environmental documents) will be conducted between July 2004 and March 2007.
Phase III (final plans, specifications, cost estimate, Mn/DOT review, right of way acquisition) is scheduled to be completed by May 2007.
Phase IV (Construction of County Road 14 Project) began in September 2007 and be substantially completed in November 2008. Final completion of the project is expected in July 2009.
